Care home staff receive a treat from Bicester developer

Nursing home staff received a treat donation from local home builder David Wilson Homes as part of Caring Month.

The 89 employees of Wyndham Hall Care Home in Bicester received a sweet donation from Cadbury’s Heroes, Celebrations, Maoams, Haribo and Maynards Bassetts Wine Gums in an effort to show the home builder’s appreciation for his hard work during the past year.

Jayne Muir, Director of the Care Home, said: “The staff at Wyndham Hall would like to say a huge thank you for the wonderful gift from David Wilson Homes.

“The past year has been a real challenge for all of us at Wyndham Hall and thanks like this means a lot to the entire staff team. Thanks a lot.”

Good Care Month was created by the Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) to celebrate the dedication of care across the UK.

It is celebrated annually in July and allows staff to share stories and challenge the stigma that can arise in the care industry, as well as encourage others to consider a care profession.
