Design’N’Buy improves its all-in-one Web2Print software with the product configurator function

Design’N’Buy is a web-based printing solutions provider and e-commerce development organization that provides software solutions that provide design automation capabilities to their clients. From t-shirts to merchandise, marketing materials to branding materials, labels to stickers, customers can create, design, and get print-ready of custom and personalized products without any design skills.

Their platform called Web2Print all-in-one software can be integrated by online print shops on their e-commerce platforms and provide their end customers with the ability to create their own personalized products.

Clients have complete design freedom to create their favorite design on the desired design using images, text, fonts, colors, icons and other design elements. Customers also get design templates that they can quickly select, edit, and send to print to reduce design time.

With ever-changing customer expectations and market trends in the software market, Design’N’Buy updates its software every 6 months based on customer feedback and market trends they witness. Periodic software updates also guarantee bug fixes and minor upgrades.

Now, to create a whole new world of possibilities, their latest All-in-One Web2Print 4.1 comes with “Made to Order” or “Layered Products” feature which is the new sensation in customization space.

With the growing demand for custom and personalized products that are unique and curated to customers, “Made to Order” or “Layered Product” gives this opportunity to printers to provide products that have more design areas and capabilities to create complex product designs.

“Made to Order” allows printers to create product layers or layers that give different blends and designs to a solid, locked background product. To give a unique design effect and create different blends of colors in different design areas, designers can create a stack of different images on different transparent sheets.

Using this feature, printers can create different customized products such as shoes, t-shirts, sofas, uniforms and others. This feature allows them to create complex designs, reposition layer content, specify opacity and blending values, and introduce many other design elements into products.

Once they have the design templates ready, the printers can then empower their customers by supplying them with the “tailor-made” products like sports uniforms, shoes, bags or others with two or more configurable parts. Thus, customers can customize the desired product and create a unique layered design, with each layer having its own color and contrast.

To set up the “Made to Order” product store, all the admin needs to do is create product preview images for each visible side of the product and upload it to the section. Once the visible sides have been defined, the system administrator must then upload the image of each part or configurable layer in transparent PNG.

For all the configurable parts, the admin can set the available materials and colors which the customers can use to customize the product. Finally, the admin will have to mark the design area(s) where their buyers can customize the product with their wish to create and send the print-ready artwork file for printing.

Providing an example, a Design’N’Buy representative said, “Imagine creating a custom sports t-shirt for your sports club. Initially, you had specific design areas where you could add logo, text, colors and other elements on the specified design areas which can be back, front and sides. sides. But with the layered product feature, you can create complex products by creating different layers in different shapes and colors. This will give customers a bigger customizable area to play with and get unique products that could help them create a distinct identity.

Once the customer submits the order for printing, the printer receives the order details in a detailed XML file that lists each choice made by customers for each configurable part of the product.

For customers who have subscribed to their all-in-one Web2Print software, they can go to the “in product” section and click on the layered product section. For any product, they can create layers for each side of the product, namely front, back, right and left. And each layer can be different in design, shape and color.

Those new to the all-in-one Web2Print software can book a free demo with the Design’N’Buy representative.

In this, the representative gives a complete tour of the product. Demos can be booked from their website which also showcases all of their products and solutions.
