Sooke to Receive Wastewater Treatment Upgrade

British Columbia government is investing $ 4.6 million in an estimated $ 6.58 million wastewater treatment plant upgrade project for the District of Sooke, with the district providing the remainder of the costs . The existing wastewater treatment plant will benefit from structural and mechanical improvements and the local wastewater collection system will be extended to increase the capacity of the sewers. The project will soon enter the design phase, with completion scheduled for fall 2023.

Edmonton Parkway project moves forward with design

The City of Edmonton’s Touch the Water Parkway in the Rossdale area is moving forward with the next phase of design work. Based on the second stage of public engagement, the city has developed a refined design concept. The public can review the Rossdale area design until August 3 at the project site.

Studio Shed launches Canadian sales

US-based Studio Shed today announced its expansion into Canada, opening e-commerce sales to Canadians this summer. Studio Shed specializes in prefabricated exterior structures, including detached home offices and accessory living units. Studio Shed saw its sales increase by 150% during the pandemic.
