Galaxy Buds Pro 2 headphones will arrive with a slight design update

Today, a set of rendered images of the alleged Galaxy Buds Pro 2 appeared online. The same post that gave us the first look at the Galaxy Watch 5, shared computer-generated raw images of all three variants of Samsung’s next-gen in-ear headphones. Likewise, it confirms that we will see a slight design update.

  • Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will arrive with a slightly modified design.
  • The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will be available in bora purple, black, and white colors.
  • Pricing and availability for the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 have yet to be revealed.

While details on the upcoming Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are pretty much plentiful at the time of writing. Only today we can see Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 in its final form, which is a month before the official Unpacked event.

What to expect from the Galaxy Buds Pro 2

According to the materials found by 91Mobiles, minor changes will be made to the earphone and case design. Samsung’s unannounced Galaxy Buds Pro 2 headphones will come with bigger fins and nozzles than the current Galaxy Buds Pro. Notably, the sensors and microphones have been repositioned while it’s unclear whether the grilles of its predecessor will be completely replaced.

As for headphone support, the USB-C port and LED indicator are still present on the case. Additionally, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 and its case are expected to follow the Galaxy Z Flip’s color selections, including Bora Purple, White, and Black.

Unfortunately, there is no mention of Galaxy Buds Pro 2 specs with this leak. It’s safe to assume that Samsung will deliver better audio quality through ANC or through its custom codecs. We may also see improvements in the battery department.

The price and availability of the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 are still unknown. To refresh, the first generation Galaxy Buds Pro we reviewed launched for $199. It is likely that the company will keep the same price after all.
