Members of (HBAGBR) provided monetary resources and materials for the Home Builders Foundation’s (HBF) inaugural foundation house, which helps raise funds for children and families in need on Thursday, December 9.
The HBF Foundation homes are sold at market value, its total donation reaching nearly $ 1 million for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
âThe vision of the House Foundation began with the mission of our Home Builders Foundation to help families and children in need as well as the core competency of our industry: house building,â said Karen Zito, President. and CEO of HBA | GBR. âBart spearheaded our first project and his innovation created a significant impact for all and a milestone for the work of HBA and HBF. “
âWith the support of the HBF, I am proud to donate $ 75,000 to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in honor of my friends, the Aucoin family. Waguespack said: “Their strength has been an inspiration to me and to so many others throughout Jacob’s journey.” Jacob Aucoin, the oldest son of the Aucoin family, is a frequent patient at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, having undergone several surgeries and countless inpatient visits.
According to the press release, Bart Waguespack, Waguespack Homes, has agreed to pioneer the Inaugural Foundation House and pledge to raise a record donation amount. The Waguespack Foundation house was completed and sold to a couple as their first house before construction was completed.
