The Drum Awards for Design: Agency of the Year nominations announced

The Drum Awards for Design celebrate truly great, problem-solving design: design that balances aesthetics and efficiency, art and commerce, and gives users a better experience of their world

These global awards recognize the best art direction, strategic thinking and execution, and are open to anyone who uses design thinking to make a difference.

The awards will take place on May 26 and, after extensive deliberation by an incredible panel of judges led by Bow & Arrow co-founder Natasha Chetiyawardana, and featuring Spotify’s Heiko Winter, Wolff Ollins’ Emma Barratt and Rapp’s Hiten Bhatt (who joined the latest episode of The Drum Show to talk about the awards), the nominations have now been announced.

However, one category in which the judges have no say is Agency of the Year. This category is exclusive and free for agencies held in high regard by their clients, as surveyed by The Drum Recommends.

The winner will be determined by the efforts of our own team of expert researchers drawing on data from The Drum Recommends (which recognizes customer sentiment and rankings), recommendations from industry-wide peers and other original research sources.

This year, 10 agencies are in the running. They are:

  • The big group

  • 1HQ

  • Armored

  • Fat

  • Creative Storm

  • Think Design

  • Swan

  • Three rooms

  • SO Marketing

The awards show, which will take place at The Drum Labs in London on May 26, will be streamed live on thedrum.com, where we’ll hear from the judges, interview winners, award-winning work and more. Register now and mark the date in your diary.
