I’ve wanted to write about this topic for a while and I’ve discussed it a lot, are we seeing more “wind” here in Ocean County? I have a feeling that since Hurricane Sandy we have more “wind” here in Ocean County.
To me it seems like almost every storm that we have here in Ocean County, we have a lot of “wind” and that goes for rainstorms or snowstorms. I feel like even on days when there is no rain or snow, you can just have “windy” days and it’s more windy than I remember in the past.
There also appear to be more “tornado warnings” here in Ocean County. I barely remember having had a tornado watch or warning here in Ocean County, but now over the past few months we’ve had several, including recently with Tropical Storm Elsa and a possible one. tornado in Little Egg Harbor.
According to heureetdate.com February is the windiest month on average in New Jersey. Nowadays, it seems every month is a windy month.
I wanted to ask YOU what you think of the âwindâ in Ocean County and get your comments⦠..
Carole: Yes! ð¯
Bob: It depends on how many people ate beans
Dawn: Yes
Bud: Lots of hot air, if you ask me.
Evelyne: Yesð¯
Linda: Yes
Let us know what you think and post your comments below we’d love to hear what you have to say. Do we have fewer trees due to construction around the county? This may be another reason for more wind ð¬
